This one day course introduces analytical techniques with Cognos’ Analysis Studio. Topics include Cognos Connection, changing rows, columns and measures; filters, drill down, charts, nesting, and advanced techniques. The course format includes lecture, instructor-led exercises and independent workshops.

Reporting on the Web with Cognos 8 (Report Studio)
This two-day course introduces basic and intermediate reporting techniques with Cognos’ Report Studio. Basic topics include Cognos Connection, designing simple queries, charts, grouping, filters, prompts, calculations and more. Intermediate topics include formatting, conditional formatting, multi-query reports, drill through reports and more. Advanced Reporting on the Web with Cognos 8 (Advanced Report Studio)
This two-day course provides advanced techniques with Cognos’ Report Studio. Advanced Ad Hoc Reporting Using Impromptu
This one day course provides clients with additional techniques for creating effective reports. Topics covered include drill through reporting, sub-reports, cascading prompts, HotFiles, and improving query performance. Clients should have previous experience with Impromptu to get the most value from this class.

Catalog and Query Administration Using Impromptu
This one day course, designed for administrators, teaches clients the basics of creating Impromptu catalogs. Topics include: planning and catalog design, creating catalogs, join strategies, folder design, user profiles and more.

PowerPlay Reporting
This course introduces students to multidimensional analysis with the Explorer and Reporter modes of PowerPlay client. Users will learn to replace rows and columns, nest, drill down, filter, create charts and more.

PowerPlay Web
This ½ day course teaches users to analyze PowerPlay cubes with the PowerPlay Web environment. Users will learn to replace rows and columns, nest, drill down, create charts, filter and more in an easy to navigate web environment.

Building Multidimensional Information Systems Using PowerPlay
This two-day course teaches clients how to create and maintain PowerPlay cubes in Transformer. Intended for administrators, this course's topics include designing a Transformer model, adding data sources, customizing the model for end users, creating sub-cubes and more.
